OUR STORY
Born of the hills, shaped by tradition
Deep in the highland forests of Manipur, where mist settles over ancient canopies and wild bees build their hives in centuries-old trees, the Zeliangrong Naga people have gathered, fermented, and preserved the bounty of the land for generations.
Tazai is the distillation of that heritage. Every jar of our raw forest honey carries the terroir of undisturbed wilderness. Every batch of our fermented akhuni paste follows methods passed down through clan kitchens for centuries. Our ghost peppers are sun-dried and smoke-cured on bamboo racks, just as they have been since before written records.
We do not manufacture. We steward. What reaches your table has been touched only by the forest, the sun, and the hands of the people who know this land best.
